This is a 2.5-hour experience in Nagoya, built around Nagoya Castle and Kinshachi Yokocho. It is run by Reelu inc, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Nagoya is Japan's fourth city and the gateway to the Ghibli Park at Nagakute, opened in 2022 with timed tickets that sell out weeks ahead, to Nagashima Spa Land and its rollercoasters, and to Inuyama, whose castle is one of the twelve original keeps. Nagoya Castle's golden dolphins and the Toyota Commemorative Museum are the city's own sights, and hitsumabushi grilled eel and miso katsu are its food. The Ise Grand Shrine, Shinto's most sacred site, rebuilt every twenty years, is 90 minutes south.

The tour with Toshi was excellent. He provided clear instructions on where to meet before leading me into the Castle grounds. His local knowledge was fascinating and he gave a rich history of Nagoya Castle. I'd highly recommend him as a tour guide.

My guide Risa made sure that I was able to see every major point of the castle while not sparing me with many information. She took great care of me and I was able to ask as many information as I pleased. Fantastic tour, fantastic insights of the castle! She even managed to get a picture organised with a local reenactment group - I was truly blessed to have her as a tour guide. Even after the tour was over she recommendet a lot of great places and made sure to search up nice spots for me based on what I told her I was looking for during my trip through Japan.
