Full description
This is a 2-hour experience in Nagoya. It is run by Japanese Cooking Class in Nagoya🇯🇵 / Nagoya, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Nagoya is Japan's fourth city and the gateway to the Ghibli Park at Nagakute, opened in 2022 with timed tickets that sell out weeks ahead, to Nagashima Spa Land and its rollercoasters, and to Inuyama, whose castle is one of the twelve original keeps. Nagoya Castle's golden dolphins and the Toyota Commemorative Museum are the city's own sights, and hitsumabushi grilled eel and miso katsu are its food. The Ise Grand Shrine, Shinto's most sacred site, rebuilt every twenty years, is 90 minutes south.
The price covers Cooking class with 5 seasonal Japanese dishes, Matcha tea, Recipe booklet to take home, Introduction to Japanese dining etiquette and culture and Tasting of Japanese seasonings. It does not cover Transportation to and from Nagoya station, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

It was a wonderful experience. We learned a lot and really enjoyed the food! Thank you, Yuka, for your kindness :)
This was a fantastic experience, we thoroughly enjoyed learning how to cook traditional Japanese dishes. Yuka was just sensational, not only was she great at teaching us, she was so helpful in giving tips and advice about our travels around Japan. So friendly, 10/10, chef’s kiss. Highly recommend! 5⭐️
This was such an incredible experience. Yuka is truly wonderful and I learned so much. どうもありがとう Yuka!
Yuka was a great host! We spent a wonderfull time with her and learnted a lot.
Best japanese cooking experience!
Yuka has been amazing! She is very accommodating and lovely, and explained everything with a smile on her face. And the food was just amazing and diverse! Highly recommend!
C’était parfait, Yuka et Malika était adorables et ont pris soin d’inclure nos enfants à chaque étape. Nous avons adoré
The cooking class went quickly over 5 recipes. There wasn't as much hands on as I would have expected from a cooking class, but Yuka and her sister were great at explaining things, and the food was great, and more than enough for a large lunch. Since there were only 4 of us in the class, it made for a great experience. To help with more detailed explanation, I suggest Yuka use her Instagram page to explain cooking methods in more detail.
