Nagoya Castle's golden dolphins and the Toyota Commemorative Museum are the city's own sights, and hitsumabushi grilled eel and miso katsu are its food. The Ise Grand Shrine, Shinto's most sacred site, rebuilt every twenty years, is 90 minutes south.

Our family of 8 did this cooking experience and it was one of our favorite activities here in Japan. We had full age ranges from grandparents, parents, a 12 year old, and a 9 month old. We loved every minute learning how to make traditional noodles from scratch, all of the different sauces and what flavors they bring out. The ladies run the kitchen were both professional and personable. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun way to learn more about Japanese cuisine.

It was an excellent experience to enjoy with my 14 year old son. We learnt how to make udon from scratch, and gyoza and had fun with it. They were so friendly. Would recommend - delicious!!
