Nagoya is Japan's fourth city and the gateway to the Ghibli Park at Nagakute, opened in 2022 with timed tickets that sell out weeks ahead, to Nagashima Spa Land and its rollercoasters, and to Inuyama, whose castle is one of the twelve original keeps. Nagoya Castle's golden dolphins and the Toyota Commemorative Museum are the city's own sights, and hitsumabushi grilled eel and miso katsu are its food. The Ise Grand Shrine, Shinto's most sacred site, rebuilt every twenty years, is 90 minutes south.

the locations were nice, but if the other guests hadn't translated, the driver and me wouldn't have been able to communicate at all, because he only spoke Chinese. so knowing times, returns, meeting points , etc depended on other guests.

Para mi sorpresa al empezar, me recibe un señor que no hablaba inglés, solo japonés y chino (cuando mi ticket y el propio tour indicaban habla inglesa adicionalmente a los otros 2 idiomas). Una vez en Ise, nos dejó 2 h para comer y luego vuelta a la furgoneta, pero en ningún momento me indicó (vía Google traductor) que además ese tiempo era para ver el Santuario de Ise, por lo que estuve paseando y perdiendo el tiempo esperando ir con el “guía” al supuesto santuario más importante de Japón para que explicara algo. Mientras nos alejábamos de Ise para mi extrañeza, ya me di cuenta que ni siquier
