Nagoya is Japan's fourth city and the gateway to the Ghibli Park at Nagakute, opened in 2022 with timed tickets that sell out weeks ahead, to Nagashima Spa Land and its rollercoasters, and to Inuyama, whose castle is one of the twelve original keeps. Nagoya Castle's golden dolphins and the Toyota Commemorative Museum are the city's own sights, and hitsumabushi grilled eel and miso katsu are its food. The Ise Grand Shrine, Shinto's most sacred site, rebuilt every twenty years, is 90 minutes south.

Maki-san was an amazing guide who taught me a lot about Toyota's roots. We had many fun conversations throughout the day not just about the company's history, but many other topics as well. 10/10, I feel very lucky. She made my first trip to Nagoya unforgettable, and for that I am eternally grateful! See you again soon!

Wonderful! Kono was a great and informative guide, charming and full with knowledge about the historical movement of Toyota and the significance the company has had and still have for Japan in general but specifically for the city of Nagoya and the Aichi Prefecture. So happy that I decided to book this tour and not just past by the muséum for a regular visit. Thank you for this experience during my vacation days in Nagoya! /Rebecca, Sweden

Kono-san was very professional, friendly, and flexible when I needed a break. I learned a lot about the Toyota company's history, their struggles in entertain the automobile industry, and even learning about textiles. I recommend everyone going this tour at least once if they are in or near Nagoya.
