Full description
This is a experience in Sapporo. It is run by JRT Group, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Hokkaido is Japan's northern island, a different climate and a different scale: Sapporo is its city, with the beer museum, the ramen alley and the February snow festival; Otaru, 40 minutes away, has the canal and the glass and music-box shops; Noboribetsu is the hell-valley hot springs; Lake Toya and Lake Shikotsu are caldera lakes; and Biei and Furano in the centre are the flower fields and lavender of July. Winter brings two metres of snow to Sapporo and the powder that made Niseko famous. Distances are long and trains are few, so day tours from Sapporo are mostly by bus and run eight to ten hours.
The price covers Guided tour, Roundtrip transportation, Fuel surcharge, Driver and Parking. It does not cover Food and drinks, Tickets for the above attractions, Personal expenses and Personal travel or accident insurance, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
JRT Group sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with JRT Group before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Every location, every activity, every bit of information that our guide, Mr. Hong, shared made me feel like I was on a quality tour. The time spent at each location never felt too long nor too short. Mr. Hong was considerably knowledgeable about each location and very accommodating to everyones’ needs on the tour. The day went by so quickly with all the fun we were having! It was a real treat booking this tour because had my fiancé and I tried to visit these locations ourselves, we probably would not enjoy all the knowledge from the tour and would probably have great difficulty commuting to th
The tour was well paced. I highly recommend taking the snowmobile option, we were lucky the sky cleared during our snowmobile break and we has a breathtaking view of Lake Toya which was perfect for photos! Noboribetsu Jigokudani Valley is also quite a sight with the steam and snow! Just be careful walking on the boardwalk as it sometimes gets slippery. Our guide, Sunny, was awesome! He speaks fluent English and Mandarin and was able to explain the sights and instructions very clearly. He went the extra mile and took photos and videos of everyone INDIVIDUALLY during the snowmobile activity and
The trip was good. Very organized and the tour guid and driver stayed on top of everything. Highlight of the trip is the snowmobile. I had my 5 yr old kid behind me on the snowmobile. I would recommend this tour
We had an amazing experience with our tour guide Sunny. From the very beginning, they were friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. They explained the history and culture in a way that was easy to understand and really engaging, and they also shared local tips we would never have found on our own. The pace of the tour was perfect — not rushed, but we still saw so many highlights. They were also very attentive, making sure everyone was comfortable and answering all our questions with patience. What really stood out was their enthusiasm and passion, which made the whole experience f
Our guide, Triple-stone was very informative. The structured about the one day trip was also very nice. I enjoyed every place that I visit, the timing also good enough. The coach in snow-mobile were very professional and patient.
The guide Sunny was really nice and knowledgeable. I saw a lot on the tour and had a good time.
An well planned and executed trip with some of the most beautiful scenery. Our guide was great at explaining the itinerary and making sure we kept the momentum. Highly recommended!
Great tour, snowmobile experience was amazing. Lots of time at each attraction. Mila the guide was informative, friendly and professional. Thanks again for the great day.
Awesome day! The schedule was perfectly timed with some of the most scenic spots across Hokkaido. Lin was an extremely kind, friendly tour guide and very knowledgeable not only about the activities but about the culture too. Thank you for all your recommendations and your kindness - returning my belongings which I left on the bus too! 🙏
It was a wonderful experience. The tour guide Mr Hong was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and always sharing interesting insights about the local history and culture during the bus ride. The snowmobile experience was definitely the highlight of the trip. The timing was perfect, as it had snowed the day before, so the snow conditions were ideal and the scenery was absolutely stunning. Everything came together for a perfect day.
Our guide was terrific. He was very informative and very helpful. The tour itself was great. We super enjoyed the snowmobile ride. It rained for the whole hour though so we were soaked through in the cold. It would have been nice if the tour had provided us with plastic raincoats like we saw with the other tour groups. Other than that it was a great day tour
Snowboarding guide Young was so patient and kind. Aslong as you choose the right selection, everything is taken care of for you from bus, to gear to equipment. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a beginner friendly day trip out to the slopes! (But you can also choose no instructor and run free on your own!
