Full description
This is a 2-hour experience in Sapporo, built around Former Hokkaidō Government Office, Sapporo Clock Tower and Sapporo Odori Park. It is run by Reelu inc, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Hokkaido is Japan's northern island, a different climate and a different scale: Sapporo is its city, with the beer museum, the ramen alley and the February snow festival; Otaru, 40 minutes away, has the canal and the glass and music-box shops; Noboribetsu is the hell-valley hot springs; Lake Toya and Lake Shikotsu are caldera lakes; and Biei and Furano in the centre are the flower fields and lavender of July. Winter brings two metres of snow to Sapporo and the powder that made Niseko famous. Distances are long and trains are few, so day tours from Sapporo are mostly by bus and run eight to ten hours.
The price covers Guide. It does not cover Personal expenses, Private transportation fee and Admission fee, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
北海道庁赤れんが庁舎 (旧本庁舎). We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Reelu inc before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

This was a must do if visiting Takayama!!! Euc is an amazing knowledgeable guide!!!!
Such a cool tour! Covered most of the main spots in Sapporo including the red brick building , tv tower, the main seafood/fish market and a sake distillery. Tour also came with a delicious lunch! An amazing experience and amazing value with Shiho, highly recommend for anyone traveling to Sapporo!!
Very happy with Dai’s introduction to the Sapporo City. I had a wonderful tour and really enjoyed discovering the city with his help. Dai was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, and made the experience feel personal rather than simply following a standard itinerary. A fantastic way to experience Sapporo, especially if it’s your first visit. Highly recommended!
It was very interesting and the guide, Imura, was very nice. It was only her second tour, but she did a great job!
We had a fantastic tour with Kota. His english was excellent, making it easy for all four of us to understand and enjoy the experience. Kota was very considerate of our group, taking into account our ages and walking abilities when setting the pace of the tour. His knowledge of the city was outstanding, and he shared interesting facts and stories throughout the tour. The places we visited were fascinating and each location was thoroughly explained, giving us a much deeper understanding of the area and its history. Kota's professionalism, patience, and local knowledge made this a memorable expe
The tour was great! Visited all the important spots in Sapporo. Our tour guide was the best, Shunsuke (Sunny).
Ken provided a personalized visit through the key must see sites in Sapporo including the clock and Panasonic tv towers, Odori Park, Tanu Kikoji Shopping Street and Nijo market. He also gave us some good tips on what to see outside Sapporo and helped us track some specific stores for shopping and restaurants for eating ramen. This introductory tour provided a great base for our future strolls through the central parts of the city.
Akira made this tour one of the highlights of my time in Sapporo. He still ran the tour even though I was the only participant that day. His professionalism and kindness already said a lot before the tour even began. The walk itself was relaxed, and full of local insight. We passed through the iconic spots — the Red Brick Building, Sapporo Clock Tower, TV Tower, Sosei River, the Fish Market, and some sampling at the the Sake Museum — with even a quick stop at a quiet temple along the way. Akira kept the pace but never rushed anything. Great way to explore the city! One small note — this is not
It was great, lots of history about Sapporo and the buildings there along with some sake
Guide Masumi was very nice. She knew the history of Sapporo yet we did not experience anything “gourmet” on this tour.
