Full description
This private day trip strings together three of Hokkaido's headline destinations and gives you a vehicle to yourself for the whole of it. Noboribetsu comes first, the island's most famous hot-spring resort, where the attraction is not only the baths but Hell Valley, the steaming volcanic basin above the town that gives the springs their water. Sulphur vents, discoloured rock and hot streams make it feel like the ground has been opened up, and boardwalks let you get properly close to it. From there the route runs to Lake Toya, a wide caldera lake ringed by hills, where the scenery does the work: still water, distant volcanic peaks and long views that reward simply stopping and looking. The last of the three is Otaru, the small harbour town whose old canal, stone warehouses and preserved streets have made it the most charming stop on any Hokkaido itinerary. Doing all three in one day is only realistic with a private car, since the public transport connections between them are slow and poorly aligned, and a fixed group tour would rush you through each one. Here the pace and the balance are yours. If Hell Valley grips you, stay longer; if you would rather give the afternoon to Otaru, say so. Ten hours with your own driver turns what would be an exhausting logistical puzzle into a straightforward and genuinely enjoyable day of exploration.

Traveler Reviews
The driver was really steady and knew the scenic spots well, so we had a great time. The car is also very comfortable, my mom twisted her waist, and she can still lie down and rest in the car, thanks to the driver's help. Next time I come to Hokkaido, I'll book the driver's car again~
