Full description
This is a 1-hour experience in Tokyo. It is run by Japanticket Inc., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.
The price covers Choose your wood, 2 types are free, The remaining types are premium woods and require an, Create your own unique chopsticks and Tools and materials provided. It does not cover Transportation fee, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.

It was a wonderful hands-on experience that gave a personalized and unique souvenir to remember our trip.
It was amazing! The workers know English very well and the workshop was amazing. We booked two workshops in two locations, the other was over 3 times more expensive, but this cheaper one was way better!!!
What a lovely experience. Yu was very helpful and patient and we loved the time spent in our class. I would highly recommend.
A very engaging and interesting activity. Lovely, responsive organizers and a cozy space. Like!
It was a great activity. Everyone in our group had fun and we have a souvenir from Japan! Highly recommend!
Miku was a tremendous help! She provided instructions in English, was friendly, and made the experience one of our faves.
We had a very enjoyable time at the session. The 2 instructors were bright and welcoming and assisted with clear instructions. While there's only a few quite simple steps involved, it's important to take your time and think about the craft behind the process developed over centuries. Very happy with the finished chopsticks that we'll treasure forever.
Very nice , relaxed , not complicated, rather peaceful and tranquil , and you come away with a nice souvenir. Could be cheap , but if you want fancier wood and engraving it creeps up but me and my partner were both very happy with the whole experience!
Great experience. Very relaxed environment and you can do each step in your own time. Staff were very friendly.
Great activity to do in Tokyo and a great way to make a souvenir that will last forever. Always People there to help you
So much fun! Shiori was so lovely to talk and chat with, she also provided us with other good places to visit! It was so much fun! Would recommend.
The activity is a cool experience! However, that fact that they charge you for different wood without warming is crazy. I would do it again but knowledge is key! The complementary wood is cheap!
