Full description
This is a 1-hour experience in Tokyo, built around Hibiya Park, National Diet Building and Toranomon. It is run by Hato Bus Co., Ltd., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.
The price covers Double-decker open-top bus and Audio guide. It does not cover Hotel pickup and drop-off and Food and drinks can't take on the bus, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Hato bus Tokyo office. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Hato Bus Co., Ltd. before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Traveler Reviews
We enjoyed the one hour tour it’s very comportable
Awesome trip route that brings tourists the beauty of this city. The tour guide gave complete instruction during the entire trip. The sites may be old but you can feel the government spent enough resource to keep them new.
Easy tour of some sites in Tokyo which we did not get too, was a good finish to our holiday.
We had a great time! Our knowledgable guide was patient with us, showed us all we wanted to see and more- guided us and assisted us to navigate the crowded markets and got us into a lovely private lunch in a hidden restaurant. Perfect day- Thank you so much!!
Also Lob an die Damen. Service: perfect
The tour itself was very average. we were the only people on the bus, and were forced by the attendant to sit on the top in the sun for the whole time even though we asked to be moved to the shade or bottom section because the sun was so intense. We all ended up sunburnt. There was also no one else on the bus so we should have been allowed to change seats.
Terrible experience. The website said there will be a english interpreter and whole tour was in Japanese
Great intro to Tokyo - easy to find from Tokyo Station, we just used our own maps but could have used earphones for English version if we needed! Open top so did get hot, but when moving and with hats+ suncream it was a good way of visiting areas too far away to walk!
the tour completed without understanding the historic landmarks. the tour guide said a lot during the tour. but all content is 100% in Japanese which i have no idea what she was talking about. the audio from smartphone provided via a website is very limited. just 2-3 sentences on each landmark. anyway. we just had some good views along the road. but not understanding the details.
