Full description
This is a experience in Tokyo. It is run by Bancre Inc., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.
The price covers All Fees and Taxes. It does not cover Additional meals and drinks, Transportation expenses to the meeting place and Hotel pick-up and drop-off, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Bancre Inc. sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Bancre Inc. before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

The overall experience was very nice, very positive and bubbly instructor. He answered all our questions and the overall experience was nice and relaxed. Everyone was joking and laughing so it is something I would do again myself
Very good introduction into Sake and very generous servings. The presentation was very informative and a good chance to ask locals all the questions about Japan.
Superbe suivi par notre hotesse, très bonne explication, elle a su nous mettre à l'aise. superbe dégustations de saké et d'accompagnements. Je vous le conseille les yeux fermés, l'un des meilleurs moments de nos vacances !
Great activity which we combine with the takoyaki cooking class done by the same team. Enjoy the place and enjoy the explanation of each Sake. All done in a cozy place.
Great variety of Sake with some little snacks and some interesting info. Would recommend!
Fantastic, fun and personal experience as only one in group. 8 sakes, tasted in a variety of ways paired with small tastings to highlight the different sakes. Learnt heaps and now know what I like and how to order. Guide very engaging.
I had a great time and I did this event solo. The bartender was great and we chatted like we were old friends. I would book this again
Has been a very nice experience. Japanese SAKE is very delicious. It has a very long culture and history. There are different ways of producing the Sake and there are different Sake tastes. Takahiko has been very helpful and very kind.
Yeya a été très accueillant et la dégustation instructive.Merci pour cette expérience qui n’a été que pour nous! Quelle chance! Merci Yeya! Et peut-être nous recroiserons-nous!
Very friendly host who spoke excellent English.
This was a last minute booking but we were the only 2 participants. It would have been more fun and a slower pace with a few more people. The guide was very good and answered lots of questions. Sampled 8 types of sake. $36 per person was a bit excessive for 30-40 minutes of tasting. Overall, still glad we did it!
This was a great experience! Nice selection of Sake with pairings. The activity was on the 2nd floor of the bar. We learned new things and the staff were really friendly
