This is a 4-hour experience in Tokyo. It is run by Jewel Tours Japan, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.

This was the best tour of our 2 weeks in Japan. Mika was the best guide. She contacted us the night before the tour and was able to secure a reservation for us at one of the key locations that we wanted to visit. The tour guide, Eduardo, was friendly and professional. He designed my personal tour to accommodate my age and physical abilities. He knew that I wanted to avoid crowded areas, so he took me to a few different areas where the views were incredible and the experience was very unique. I would highly recommend requesting Eduardo to be your tour guide!

Jack was very helpful showing me how to use the subway system. He led me through some interesting historical sites. At the end, he gave me tips on how to use the subway back to my hotel. If I needed a taxi, I could contact him and he would order a ride for me.
The walking tour was worth for me as solo female traveller. I was able to learn how to navigate through the city and the train rides, local shops and food spots.
Louise was a fantastic guide and showed us so much on our private walking tour. We covered several districts and found places we would never have found on our own. She was so friendly and helpful answering all our questions and we learned so much from her. We had a great day and would highly recommend anyone to book this tour.

Our guide, Mika, was absolutely wonderful. She spoke very fluent English and totally knew her way around Tokyo including use of the subway system. She made sure we saw everything we wanted to as well as some things she thought we would find interesting, which we did. Mika also took us to a traditional Japanese restaurant which was quite good and interesting.
Eating at restaurants and trying food that usually we would not go too. The guide was informative and able to get the group involved and relaxed to share a fantastic night together
