This is a 2-hour experience in Tokyo. It is run by Tokyo Cute Bento (kawaii Cooking class), an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.
The price covers Cooking class, Design your own character bento with decorated faces and, All ingredients and tools, Cultural description and Enjoying the meal. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Tokyo Cute Bento (kawaii Cooking class) sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. Fun activity, friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend this activity for all ages.
we had so much fun creating our own bento. the hosts were extremely helpful when it came to showing the kids how to arrange their meals. we arrived early but were still able to sit inside and out of the heat. highly recommend. so worth it and fun experience for adults and children.
A fun way to spend a rainy afternoon. Some education about Bento Boxes and everything provided to make a cute Bento Box with step by step guidance.
This was such a cute and fun activity! My 5 and 8 year old daughters had a lot of fun and felt very proud of the cute bento boxes they made. We made a sausage heart, cut watermelon slices out of cucumber and crab, a lady bug with tomato and seaweed, a snail with ham and cheese, and rice penguins. Our host, Kenji, was very nice and helpful. The group that joined us was a mom with an 11 year old daughter and an 8 year old son. Their group seemed to really enjoy it too. There is a cute photo set up at the end and Kenji and team were happy to help take photos. If this looks fun to you, book it bec
The kids enjoyed it very much. Very organized with all the materials and tools needed. Very friendly and engaging staff.
The class was really fun and got to learn how to put together a very cute bento box.

This was such a cute and fun experience! The instructors were fun and helpful! We got to prepare a few pieces to decorate the Beto box with and got to put it together. We had so much fun and we got to walk home with the boxes, and the food was delicious!

Our instructors, Kenji and Mami, were so friendly and nice! They really made the class a lot of fun. We learned about the history of bento boxes and why they were started.
