This is a 4-hour experience in Tokyo, built around Autobacs Shinonome, Daikoku Parking Area and Tokyo Tower. It is run by Matenro Drift Racing | JDM Drift Tours and Lessons, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.

Beautiful experience. My guide was Toshi, very kind and very sociable. He picked me up at the hotel and took me to Autobacs which is a Japanese car accessories store, after which we went to the Daikoku parking station, where there were a lot of JDMs. Beautiful experience, I recommend it to anyone who loves the world of cars.

Takeshi is an amazing guide and very informative about local car community. This is the best tour I could pick from all of the Daikoku tours! He is a true Tokyo Drifter who knows the community from inside. Can't wait to go back and spend more time around Japanese cars 😍

Very good organised Tour. There was a problem with our booking but the organiser made everything possible for us to enjoy the tour. Thank you again Takeshi. Our Guide was part of the drifting/ tuning scene. We had a lot of fun and the cars were beautiful. Everyone at the meeting was friendly.

Great experience! It was really cool to see a range of street cars. Takeshi was a great host and it was good to hear the experiences of a local. We got some great food tips and an Onsen in Hakuba. Highly recommend.

Although we left the country on Saturday morning, we went on Thursday, but the cars were not bad. We had a fun small talk with the guide on the way back and forth, and we also looked at vehicle-related items when we went to APIT. It was fun. Next time, I want to enjoy the drift-related content that the guide does.
