Full description
This is a 11-hour experience from Tokyo, built around Bus/coach, Enoshima Island and Tram. It is run by TOURSTORY Japan, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Kamakura, an hour south of Tokyo, was the seat of Japan's first shogunate from 1185 and is now a temple town on the sea. The Great Buddha at Kotoku-in, a bronze of 1252 that sits in the open since a tsunami took its hall in 1498, is the reason to come; Hase-dera's hydrangeas in June, Tsurugaoka Hachimangu at the head of the main street, and the hiking trails between the temples fill the rest. The Enoden tram runs along the coast to Enoshima island, with Fuji across the bay on a clear winter day.
The price covers Round-trip Transportation, English & Korean Speaking Guide and Enoden Tram Tickets. It does not cover Meals, Other Personal expenses, Traveler's Insurance and Optional Admission to Great Buddha, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
TOURSTORY Japan sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with TOURSTORY Japan before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Traveler Reviews
A very nice, well balanced trip with a very nice snd helpful guide Jeffrey. However I would suggest 1 slight modification- 20-30 min less in Enoshima or Yokohama to visit in Kamakura both: The Great Budda and the wonderful Hase-dera temple with a very interesting historical background. And in Yokohoma not everyone might be interested in shopping mall. It is worth yo mention that next to the mall, there is a very interesting small museum, free of charge, with Korean spy ship took over by the Japanese in 2001 and with exciting and horrifying story behind.
The Guide Jeffry was very helpful and kind. It was wonderful being with him. The vehicle was good with nice air conditioning. Again 5 Star to the Guide Jeffry.
we got to see so much and we liked that we had quite a bit of time on the island! our tour guide juna was really friendly and informative. We enjoyed our time and would do it again.
The pace of visiting each place is suitable for families
The tour was very nice! We loved the costal vibes in comparison to Tokyo! Our tour guide Juna was super sweet and helpful! Would recommend.
Our trip was excellent!! Ichi was very friendly during the trip and explained to us the most important things for each the places we visited. Thank you for the nice experience, we recommend 100% this tour to anyone!
We came because my friend is a big fan of the anime filming spot near Kamakurakōkō-Mae Station, and it did not disappoint. When the train passed with Mt. Fuji in the background, everyone got excited and started taking photos for each other haha! I also loved walking around Enoshima Island in the morning. The weather was perfect and the ocean view was beautiful. The whole trip felt relaxed and well organized, with just the right amount of free time. Would definitely recommend if you want an easy and scenic day near Tokyo.
This trip is a very smart and convenient way to dip into Kamakura, Enoshima and Yokohama, if you are already in Tokyo. The pacing of the trip and time given at each stop is perfectly enough to discover the sites. The transportation was comfortable and trip is well-organised. We expected however more explanations and insights from the guide as this is the nr1 reason for booking and activity with a guide. The guide was friendly and nice but was reading (!) about 2-3 sentences of some of the sights from his phone.. expected a bit more.. after all it is still a well organised trip.
It was very nice to get time to do what you want and focus on exploring yourself. However, when I get a guide I hope to usually hear more than just being shown around. Therefore for those who want to be shown around but want to focus on exploring themselves. This is probably the best way to do so.
The itinerary was very full and interesting, and the tour guide, Gilbert, was also very detailed. Highly recommended!
This is a BIG day of activity; getting on and off trains and the large number of stairs on Enoshima should be advised in the pre-information. We got a message that a choice would need to be made between two tour options (Kamakura Highlight course or Kamakura Yokohama course for the tour conclusion), we then weren’t given an option. Enoshima is beautiful and seeing Mt Fuji again across the Sagami Bay was lovely. The stops at two train stations (Kamakura Kokomae No.1 Railroad Crossing for a “Slam Dunk” photo op and Gokurakuji Station for a "Our Little Sister" photo op) was not time well spent fo
Excelente. Divertida, dinámica. Nuestra guía fue atenta y paciente todo el viaje. Es una experiencia increíble para conocer Japón
