This is a 1-hour experience in Tokyo. It is run by Zakuro Show, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.

This was a fantastic show put on by professional musicians. They gave an excellent overview of each instrument and played a diverse repertoire from traditional to modern music, including a version of “Smells Like Teen Spirit” that we loved! The location is in easy walking distance from Harajuku station and many shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!!!

One of the best shows I have ever seen. Not only were we treated to wonderful music played on traditional instruments but we learned about the instruments themselves in an informative and entertaining way. I will go again if I have time.

It was a wonderful experience for both musicians and non-musicians. The guide was perfect, translating and explaining the various instruments and leading the concert. These high-level musicians managed to move me with their cultural compositions😊

Fucking incredible. Would’ve stayed for the 7:00 but I had another obligation. Live music is always great, but this was very special and wonderful. Super talented group. Tremendous.

Definitely recommend. This was a great performance of a mix of traditional japanese and modern music played on traditional japanese instruments. Very inreresting explanations regarding the instruments and their history were also give.

Highly enjoyable experience. Very talented musicians playing traditional instruments, hosts translated everything for us if you don't speak Japanese, great selection of music with a western cover thrown in as a surprise. Highly recommend to anyone with an interest in Japanese music.

Amazing musicians! Such a wonderful concert, they take the time to you about the instruments as well. They are so talented, and the host is great as well. Plus, they played a "Surprise" song which really made the show even more special :) Highly recommend!
