Full description
This is a 70-minute experience in Tokyo, built around Tokyo Station, Tokyo Tower and Ginza. It is run by VIP Japan Tour, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.
The price covers Open-top bus tour, Audio guide available in multiple languages and Japanese-speaking staff available for assistance. It does not cover Live guide, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
東京VIPラウンジ. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with VIP Japan Tour before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Everything was excellent, we loved it. The staff were so nice and polite. Would recommend.
We done this tour on our very first day arriving into Japan which I think was a great idea. A good way to see Tokyo
remove the annoying music from the audio guide. silence would be better in between announcements
I like how organised it was from let us meet in the room with a map provided. Then the lovely lady our guide took us for a very short walk where the bus is waiting for us, it was great that way. The bus and trip is fabulous with audio,.so relaxing while sitting and information and learning about the locations. Will definitely do.something similar again. The guide was lovely and friendly she took.care of us. kudos to her.
Lots of fun, great information on the history and a very professional guide, and safe driving. Keep up the great work ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Super cool experience and amazing views of different parts of Tokyo!! Our tour guide was so sweet and helpful throughout the bus journey. Highly recommend!!
Our open top bus tour was wonderful. Everything was just as we hoped and we had a great experience.
Went there but nothing Maybe there was change to schedule. But didn't go What a nightmare. No contact on WhatsApp which hugely disappointed. Useless
If the audio guide with paper written on, it will be great help!
Good value but little knee space and you’re at the mercy of the weather either too cold or too hot.
Overall it was a good tour which gave us a real sense of the size of Tokyo and its culture. The drive over Rainbow Bridge was the highlight but it was good to see how the Japanese people enjoyed themselves on a Saturday afternoon in the parks. So we were satisfied with the value of the tour. The only thing that marred our satisfaction was the reception at the meeting place. I understand that the meeting place is a shared space with another company but we arrived about 20 minutes early having only arrived in Tokyo 4 hours before so we weren’t sure of the timing of the trains etc and the “ greet
Good audio descriptions via headphones although the music between segments was too loud compared with the voice. Many facts in the descriptions but not a lot of general interest, e.g. descriptions op how Toykyo residents live. The "VIP" room where we met was quite basic but the lady who spoke very little English, was kind.
