This is a 1.5-hour experience from Tokyo, built around ㈱サガミセレモニー東京営業所. It is run by Microgreen Co., Ltd., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.

The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome right away. They were very easy to talk to and genuinely felt more like friends than someone we simply hired. The tasting was very enjoyable, and we got to create our own display trays with traditional Japanese crafts, and snack dishes. Cannot recommend enough. Visited with friends, will absolutely visit with my dad again one day.

We were immediately made to feel welcome and the ladies presenting the tasting were wonderful! Very knowledgeable about the whisky on offer. The pairing snacks were great and we left feeling like we were leaving friends behind!

Loved this experience! It’s run by two sisters who are knowledgeable, works with local vendors and great presentation/service. Easy to find, nice space and great snacks. I also love that you get to choose your own whisky adventure and they were all of the best quality!
