Full description
This is a 1-hour experience in Tokyo. It is run by GLOBA Inc., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.
The price covers Entry ticket, Guided tour with an English-speaking guide and Ninja star throwing experience. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
GLOBA Inc. sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with GLOBA Inc. before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.
Includes
- Entry ticket
- Guided tour with an English-speaking guide

the tour guide was very informative. think his name was Haki. He also really engaged with the group and really funny.
This was a informative and fun experience! The only caution I would add is if you have trouble with stairs this may not be for you.
Great value for money. We had a rainy day in Tokyo and this was perfect as an indoor activity. Was short and sweet and easy to follow and understand. Akira our guide was amazing!!!
Kei was a brilliant tore guide and lots of fun, very informative
Great experience and so much fun! We also learnt so much. It is a great activity for families with children/teens. Having said that, we are both 30+ we didn't miss the chance to get dressed as samurai!
Interesting and definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it. Thank you for all the hard work and effort that went into making this possible!
Yuga was the best guide! So amusing and so prepared about every topic! 🤩 The shuriken throwing activity was very fun! 🥷
Our guide Rui was lovely! She was super sweet and knowledgeable! She answered all our questions, often with a bit of humour. The museum is great for learning about Japanese history, and we definitely recommend this tour to explore it!
The instructor was wonderful and explained everything clearly and patiently. The ninja star throwing competition was so much fun, and dressing up at the end made the experience even more special. Both we and our children had an amazing time and highly recommend this activity!
Museum tour was interesting, lots of examples of swords and armour. Kenny made the tour fun, lots of facts given - enjoyed the ninja star throwing!
all the signs were in English so overall a good experience
