Full description
This is a 1-hour experience in Tokyo. It is run by GLOBA Inc., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.
The price covers Entry ticket, Guided tour with an English-speaking guide and Ninja star throwing experience. It does not cover Transportation, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
GLOBA Inc. sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with GLOBA Inc. before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Yuki was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable about Samurai history. I appreciated the different rooms showing the progress through history, and the hands on experiences with weapons and armor.
It was nice introduction to history of Shinobi and Ninja. Not to long not to short, enough explanation and hads on experience. Lots of exponats to take photo with. Friendly staff.
Both of the guides, Guchi and T.P., were awesome, the experience of throwing shuriken was fun even though we didn't won the competition. Completely recommended.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a brilliant experience at the Samurai Museum in Shinjuku! The whole visit was really interactive and engaging, with a fantastic collection that was so well curated. A special mention has to go to our guide, Masa, who absolutely made the experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable but also really funny and entertaining, which brought the history to life and made the tour so enjoyable. We learned loads, had a great laugh and came away with a much better understanding of samurai history and culture. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Tokyo and would highly recommend!
Great tour, very educated guide and a lot of fun for the whole family.
Staff here are polite and the venue is easy to find. Leo our host made this experience enjoyable, learnt a lot about the samurai in their time.
Great tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. She spoke a little fast which was made it a little hard to understand at times. Well worth the visit.
This is an exceptional tour, so glad we booked it on our last day in Tokyo. Very interesting and practical with lots of hands on exhibits. Big thank you to Take, our tour guide who was very informative and entertaining. Would definitely recommend!
