Full description
Shibuya photographs badly if you only shoot the crossing. The famous scramble is five seconds of a neighbourhood that is far more interesting one street back, where the signage tightens, the alleys narrow to shoulder width and the light turns genuinely cinematic.
This is a walk with a photographer rather than a photoshoot. You move through Shibuya — the crossing, Center Gai's wall of screens, then into the drinking alleys where wooden two-storey bars survive between towers — and the shots are taken as you go. Some are set up, most are not. The point is images that look like an evening you actually had, not a studio session held outdoors.
Nonbei Yokocho, 'Drunkard's Alley', is the one people miss. A few dozen tiny bars packed along two lanes behind the station, most seating six or seven, lit almost entirely by lanterns and vending machines. It is a minute from the crossing and feels like a different decade.
Edited photos are delivered digitally after the walk, retouched and included — there is no per-image upsell at the end.

Detailed Itinerary
Evening slots are the point — the neon needs darkness, so walks generally start after sunset and the exact time shifts with the season. Meet at Hachiko, spend a few minutes agreeing on tone, and start shooting at the crossing.
The crossing takes several light cycles to do properly: wide frames from the middle of the scramble, then elevated shots looking down. Center Gai follows, where the screens supply all the light you need. The last twenty minutes go to Nonbei Yokocho and the surrounding lanes, which is where most people's favourite images end up.
Your photographer edits after the walk and delivers the finished set digitally, usually within a few days.
