This is a 30-minute experience in Tokyo. It is run by 着物レンタル綾花, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.

We loved our experience renting yukatas in the summer! These yukatas are like kimonos but lighter for the summer, which I noticed not all shops provided but this one did. They also had men’s and childrens yukatas. We were able to pick from many styles, it included a belt and belt decoration and hair style with hair decorations. The temple was a 3min walk and very convenient!

Both my wife and I myself loved the experience wearing the kimonos. Staff very friendly and helped with the whole process, highly recommend.

This was the cheapest kimono experience I could find in the area. I feel like $37 for all day wear is a great deal. The owner was nice and showed you everything included in your package/helped you choose the colors and styles that look best on you.

It was such an incredible experience! I reserved for my last day in Japan so that it could be special. And it was!!! Ayaka is so sweet and so is the person who helped me to wear my kimono. There are many beautiful options of clothes and also of ornaments and purses. Ayaka helped me to choose everything, since I have no experience. She was so fast and talented in doing hair, I was really impressed!! And the photographer is nice, funy and efficient, we could do many photos in 30min! She is really good in guiding poses and taking the BEST photos! Also, was very quick in sending the photos to me.

It was amazing activity which you should experience near Asakusa Senso-ji Temple in Tokyo. Ayaka is a talented woman and she is very helpful and kind. And you can rent the kimono until 5:00 pm. It is just across the street from temple.

10/10 the lady who helped me pick the kimono and dress me was outstanding ! She was so nice and friendly. After the photos were taken I walked around and seen people riding a rickshaw and told her I was interested in doing it she called the place and set up a time for me to go !
