Full description

This is a 10-hour experience in Tokyo, built around Shibuya Crossing, Shibuya Scramble Square and Sensō-ji Temple. It is run by Japan Best Adventure Tours, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.

Senso-ji Temple was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan. The atmosphere was incredible, with beautiful traditional architecture, vibrant surroundings, and a deep sense of history and culture. It was a wonderful opportunity to immerse myself in Japanese traditions. Watching visitors offer prayers, cleanse their hands before entering the temple, and participate in centuries-old customs made the experience truly authentic and memorable. Our guide Allhamdulila, Ali, was a fantastic guide he arrived on time and took us to all the sights in Tokyo. He took the time to provide the background on each of the sites and had a great sense of humor. Highly recommend him as your guide if you want to have a great time in Tokyo.

We had an amazing Tokyo city tour! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Our driver, Hassan, was professional, punctual, and incredibly friendly throughout the day. He drove safely, shared helpful information about the city, and made sure we were comfortable at every stop.
