This is a 2.5-hour experience from Tokyo, built around Cat Cafe MOCHA Harajuku, Train and 豪徳寺商店街. It is run by Tokyo Meows, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

It was a really pleasant time with our guide. We got to experience the local vibe near the temple and the cat cafe was fun and cute. The temple was interesting to see and the only thing missing was the cat train which wasn't in operation on the day of our trip

Our guide, Masumi, arrived early to meet us and explained the plan for the tour. Masumi made sure we knew what to do in the cat cafe and made sure we made the most of the time available. It was wonderful seeing and interacting with the beautiful cats. Masumi then accompanied us to the cat temple sharing local knowledge and insight throughout. Masumi explained what we should do on arrival and shared the traditional expectations when visiting. It was amazing!! We were able to visit some great local shops in the area on our return. We enjoyed the tour very much. The guides were well prepared and they even shared us interesting information too as we were travelling to keep our attention. Our 30 mins in the catcafe also included the feeding time and it was lovely to see all the cats lined up for eating.

We were lucky to have two guides who were both fantastic—Momo and Hilo. It was immersive with lots of information about cats and Japan, and they were able to provide recommendations for other activities we may be interested in. The cat cafe was special, the transit was seamless, and they knew how to get us around the temple efficiently. Thank you!

Our guide was so amazing!! He told us about the history and gave us many opportunities to take pictures and gave us time to dilly dally around the city! He was very easy to communicate with and if he didn’t know an answer he found an answer for us. Super friendly would recommend this tour for anyone, cat lover or not!

Tom was a wonderful guide. He was wonderful with our 5 year old - very family friendly tour. The cat cafe was very cute and we were able to enjoy their feeding time. Gotokuhi Temple was beautiful and unique and Tom provided lots of good background information for us. Wonderful tour to enjoy while in Tokyo!

Had an absolute blast with our tour leader Hiro. It turned out just to be me and my little 4 year old. Hiro was so patient with a 4 year old who wanted to tell him everything about her journey so far. We visited the cat cafe, cat temple and cat street. He also made sure we saw the cat tram en route to the temple. We got our cat stamp at the train station, so remember your stamp book.
