Full description
This is the extended route for people who would rather not rush. Two hours instead of one, a smaller group, and enough time to do both of Tokyo's signature kart backdrops — the tower and the crossing — without choosing between them.
Longer matters more than it sounds. The short kart tours spend most of their time in transit between two photo stops; at this length the guide can hold the group at each landmark long enough to actually shoot it, run the crossing more than once if the lights fall badly, and take the scenic line through Roppongi rather than the quickest one.
Tokyo Tower anchors the route. Finished in 1958 and painted regulation orange and white for aviation safety, it stands 333 metres — deliberately nine metres taller than the Eiffel Tower that inspired it. Harajuku's narrower streets follow, then Shibuya, where the scramble moves up to 3,000 people across on a single change.
Paperwork first: a Geneva-Convention International Driving Permit, your home licence and your passport, all physical. Arrange the IDP in your own country before you fly.

Detailed Itinerary
Check-in runs a little longer than the standard tours because the briefing is fuller — you will be on the road twice as long and through more complex traffic. The IDP check is unmoveable: physical Geneva-Convention permit, home licence and passport, or you do not ride.
The route heads out through Roppongi on the scenic line, then holds at Tokyo Tower for a proper stop — several angles, group and individual frames, rather than one hurried shot. Harajuku's narrow streets make the connecting leg, which is the quietest and most relaxed riding of the tour.
Shibuya closes it. If the light cycle empties the crossing at the wrong moment the guide simply loops and goes again, which is the main thing the extra hour buys you. Photos are handed over at the garage.

A really fun experience. At first, it seems complicated to drive in a city you don't know, but after just a few minutes you get used to it and enjoy the experience. Arriving at the Shibuya meeting point in the evening is also exciting. Serhii is a patient, helpful, and super kind guide. If you go to Tokyo, this is definitely an experience you should do.

This group activity is run brilliantly. You are greeted by lovely hosts who has near excellent english. you are then shown upstairs where you can change into some onsies and costumes of different types between pokemon characters, minions, Harry potter etc. You are sat down for 5 minutes to explain everything that keeps you safe before going on the journey of a lifetime. You zip through streets of Tokyo and see the beautiful sites all while getting brilliant photos taken by your tour guide.
Very good experience. Our tour guide was Spanish. He treated the whole group very well and tried to make sure we all had nice photos as souvenirs.
I had so much fun! This was my second time driving a go-kart through the streets of Tokyo and it was just as much fun this time. My guide Biel was awesome! I appreciate him taking pictures of me throughout the tour and making sure that I was having a good time. If you’re looking for something fun and different while you’re in town, I highly recommend doing this!

This was such a fun adventure! Going at night when there's fewer cars on the road was definitely the way to go. Fede and Takuya led us on a fantastic adventure. If you wear contacts, bring your glasses instead. Your eyes will thank you. A couple people in my group mentioned theirs got pretty dry during the excursion.
