Full description
This is a 1-hour experience in Tokyo. It is run by Sunrise Adventure, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.

The Tea Master was so knowledgeable and fun. The tea tastes amazing.
The hostess was really polite and sweet. You can expect to learn more about the main teas in Japan and try them out by yourself. You will also make your own matcha, which was pretty cool. The place is also close to the Tokyo University, so after it you can stroll around the beautiful campus. Definitely something to recommend! Arigatō 😁

It was a fun and interactive session. Our tea ceremony sensei gave great details about the history and the current status of each aspect, sometimes her English was hard to follow, but she repeated often enough and was open for questions.
This was an excellent activity, the host was wonderful, and very enthusiastic. I really enjoyed tasting all the different types of tea, and it was interesting to learn some more about Japanese culture in general. I would highly recommend this activity to others.

Excellent session on all the different types of Japanese tea. Fantastic Tea Master guiding us through the different teas and a real discovery to the quality and tastes of Japanese Green tea!
