This is a 1.5-hour experience in Tokyo. It is run by SUSHI GARYU, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.

Our server Keiko was great! The omakase was delicious and unlimited sake was great and they had eight different sake options. Absolutely worth the price!

It. was fantastic amd really unlimited. The omakase (sushi) was perfect. Keiko was extremely kind and we just loved the entire experience. We were alone there and felt a true calm japanese spirit. Was worth every penny amd we wholeheartedly recommend.

Really friendly staff and a great selection of sake to try (lots of choices). The sushi was superb and the staff were knowledgeable about sushi and sake. A great introduction to these two Japanese staples, I would recommend.

I enjoyed the sake tasting and sushi lunch. It’s a good activity to do immediately after landing in Japan. The sake and sushi were both superb. The wait staff were friendly and easy to speak to. I wish I could have learned more about the sakes itself and how the different terroirs influence the taste as well as the rice. The activity was more about consuming than learning but I still recommend it wholeheartedly.

The best sushi of my life !!! I had the privilege to be the only person for the time I booked so I could have this experience completely for myself. Never saw such a delicious tuna. The sushi master was by far the most experienced that I’ve ever saw. The taste is something I cannot even describe properly (and I am not even the biggest fan of sushi). The presentation was perfect, the staff was super friendly and explained a lot about all the ingredients like nori, wasabi and what parts are used for what sushi types. If you want to eat real sushi you must visit this place.

I booked this for a Sunday night, so I had the pleasure of a private tasting. There were 8 different sake’s to taste, and I certainly tried them all and went back for more of my favorite! The sake was paired with delicious sushi and miso soup.
