This is a 45-minute experience in Tokyo. It is run by Traveling Tokyo, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.

A truly fantastic experience—highly recommended! 💍🇯🇵 It was a unique, fun, and super engaging experience. It was wonderful to be able to create something with our own hands and end up with a unique and special memento of our trip to Tokyo. A special thanks goes to Aika, who guided us throughout the entire activity. She was incredibly kind, patient, helpful, and very professional. She explained each step with great care, always putting us at ease and making the experience even more enjoyable. You could tell she really cared about making sure we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was fantastic

Friendly and knowledgeable staff make this hands on experience really fun. You will make a ring from an old coin step by step. It makes a great souvenir from your trip to Japan. We went to the wrong location on accident (Asakusa instead of Shibuya) and they were very accommodating and able to change our reservation to the other location.

A beautiful and unique experience turning an old coin into a ring. Our guide, Noila, was incredibly kind and explained everything perfectly. Japanese coins aren’t included in the price, but for a small extra fee, you can choose a coin from different eras of Japan. A lovely way to create a little piece of history to take home.
