Full description
This is a 2-hour experience from Tokyo, built around Takasago-beya Sumo Stable. It is run by Air Choice, Inc., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Tokyo is the largest city on earth by metropolitan population and it is best seen as a set of neighbourhoods on the Yamanote loop line rather than one place. Asakusa has Senso-ji, the city's oldest temple, and Nakamise's shopping lane; Shibuya has the scramble crossing and Shinjuku the bars of Golden Gai and Omoide Yokocho; Harajuku is Takeshita Street and Meiji Shrine's forest; Akihabara is electronics and anime; Ginza is department stores and sushi counters. Everything runs on time and the last trains are around midnight. Cash still matters in small restaurants, an IC card covers every train and bus, and tipping is not done anywhere.
The price covers Tour guide, Visit to sumo stable, Sumo wrestler morning practice and Taking photos with sumo wrestlers. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Air Choice, Inc. sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Air Choice, Inc. before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Had an amazing day today on the morning tour to watch the stable training. Our guide was amazing and she was very friendly and accommodating for my pregnant wife. The experience watching the training was very interesting, and i certainly want to come back to Japan to watch a sumo tournament in future. Huge respect for the sumo!
The tour guide was the sweetest! I was in my early pregnancy with terrible nausea and had to take a break outside and she not inly came outside to give me a chair and pillows, but she also ran down the road to get me something to drink! I felt so well cared for. The sumo training itself was fascinating to watch and the wrestlers themselves were super nice when we took the pictures with them afterwards :) would 100% recommend to anyone.
We absolutely loved it. Our guide was so lovely and helpful and seeing the practice so close up was a great experience. Would highly recommend.
It was a great experience from start to finish. The meeting point was easy to find, the tour guide was informative and knowledgeable. She was also very friendly and helpful, ensuring that we got the best views! The sumo experience it's self was great, we got to watch 2 Sekitori bring their groups together for practice.
This was an incredible experience! Our guide was so lovely and provided lots of information to immerse us in the morning practice at the stable. The wrestlers training were fascinating to watch. We then got tickets to the sumo tournament (which were hard to get but so worth it) and we understood so much more about it because of the tour.
Great morning activity and special picture memories
This was a very interesting and entertaining experience. Such a great insight into the training involved. Highly recommend.
This was one of my highlights from my trip to Japan. It was such a special experience to witness and learn about such an ancient sport. Highly recommend!
I enjoyed how the wrestlers just carried on with their normal training and were not interacting with the crowd..good experience
Excellent! Keiko San was very kind, professional! Highly recommended.
Really interesting experience, well managed by our hosts. Information was clear, guides were there on time and all went smoothly.
