A 2-day trip out of Aqaba taking in Meeting your guide & welcome drink, Start the tour, Guided Hike to the Summit and Descent. There are 6 stops in all.

The running order is Meeting your guide & welcome drink, then Start the tour, then Guided Hike to the Summit, then Descent, then Traditional Bedouin Lunch, and on from there.

The price covers 4x4 Jeep ride, Local Bedouin guide, Hike to Umm Ad Dami and Traditional Bedouin lunch. It does not cover travel insurance, Personal expenses and Wadi Rum entrance fee, so budget for those separately. Two travellers pay $650 together rather than $389 each, because this is priced per party and not per head.

Meeting your guide & welcome drink

Arrive at the meeting point where you will meet your guide for the day. You can store your luggage at the reception or use a private tent to get ready. Enjoy a complimentary welcome tea before heading out.

Start the tour

Set off on a 1.5-hour jeep drive through the spectacular landscapes of Wadi Rum as you travel to the base of Um Al-Dami Mountain, the highest peak in Jordan.

Guided Hike to the Summit

Begin your guided hike with a local Bedouin guide. Reach the summit of Um Al-Dami and take in breathtaking panoramic views of Wadi Rum, Saudi Arabia, and, on clear days, the Red Sea.

Descent

Descend the mountain at a comfortable pace while enjoying more spectacular desert scenery.

Traditional Bedouin Lunch

Relax after the hike and enjoy a traditional Bedouin lunch with freshly prepared tea in a peaceful desert setting.

Dinner & Wild camping

After lunch, head to a remote area to set up the wild camp. Enjoy a traditionally prepared dinner by your guide as the sun sets. After dinner, enjoy a hot tea before drifting to sleep under the clear, starry sky.

Breakfast & Departure

After breakfast, pack up and enjoy a scenic drive back to the meeting point.
