A 2-day trip out of Petra taking in Amman/Airport, 4x4 Tour, Sunset & Camp Arrival and Bedouin Evening. There are 8 stops in all.

The running order is Amman/Airport, then 4x4 Tour, then Sunset & Camp Arrival, then Bedouin Evening, then Overnight Stay, and on from there.

The price covers private transportation, Pickups can be arranged from Amman, Petra, or the Dead Sea, Return transfer to the original pickup location and English-speaking driver. It does not cover lunch (unless specified), Gratuities and Personal expenses, so budget for those separately. Two travellers pay $540 together rather than $540 each, because this is priced per party and not per head.

Amman/Airport

The tour starts with a scenic transfer to the protected Wadi Rum area, offering pickups from various locations including Amman, Petra, the Dead Sea, and Queen Alia International Airport.

4x4 Tour

Upon arrival, guests transfer to an off-road 4x4 Jeep to explore the desert's most famous sites. Activities during the safari include viewing towering sandstone mountains, examining ancient rock inscriptions, and sandboarding down the Mars-like red dunes, with stops to take in sweeping views of the vast, wind-carved landscape.

Sunset & Camp Arrival

After the safari concludes, guests settle into their desert camp just in time to watch the sunset bathe the horizon in rich bands of amber and rose, while the cool evening air, shifting sands, and soft glow of camp lights create a truly immersive welcome.

Bedouin Evening

The night highlights traditional Bedouin hospitality, featuring a "Zarb" dinner cooked beneath the sand, a traditional Bedouin cooking method that adds to the meal’s cultural significance, followed by drinking tea and sharing stories around a campfire under the stars.

Overnight Stay
