Tour Itinerary
The schedule below is a suggested plan and can be adjusted to suit your preferences.
Kathmandu to Chame (2,710m)
Begin with a drive from Kathmandu to Besishahar and continue toward Chame. The road follows the Marsyangdi Valley, with views of rivers, hills, villages, and mountain scenery along the way. Overnight in Chame.
Chame to Pisang (3,300m)
Start trekking through pine and fir forests, passing waterfalls, rocky cliffs, and mountain villages. Continue along the Marsyangdi Valley to Pisang, surrounded by impressive Himalayan scenery.
Pisang to Manang (3,540m)
Continue toward Manang through the upper Marsyangdi Valley. The landscape becomes drier as you gain altitude, with views of Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, and surrounding peaks. Arrive in Manang and spend the night there.
Acclimatization in Manang(4,600)
Take a day to acclimatize before continuing to higher elevations. Enjoy a 6–7 hour hike toward Ice Lake at approximately 4,600 meters before returning to Manang for the night.
Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m)
Leave Manang and continue into the higher mountain region. The trail passes through alpine landscapes and yak grazing areas before reaching Yak Kharka at 4,110 meters.
Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600m)
Continue trekking toward Thorong Phedi, the base area for the crossing of Thorong La Pass. The trail gradually gains elevation as the landscape becomes more rugged and alpine.
Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,800m)
Begin early for the challenging climb to Thorong La Pass at 5,416 meters, one of the highest points on the Annapurna Circuit. After crossing the pass, descend toward Muktinath, an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists.
Muktinath to Marpha (2,670m)
Continue through the Kali Gandaki Valley toward Marpha. The landscape changes noticeably as you descend into the drier Mustang region. Arrive in Marpha, a traditional mountain village known for its stone houses and narrow streets.
