A 7-day trip out of Pokhara taking in Drive to Jhinu Danda & trek to Chhomrong village, Chomrong to Doban, Doban to Deurali and Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp. There are 6 stops in all.

The running order is Drive to Jhinu Danda & trek to Chhomrong village, then Chomrong to Doban, then Doban to Deurali, then Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp, then Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo, and on from there.

The price covers hotel pick up & drop, Round trip transportation, ACAP permit & TIMS and Private accommodation of tea-houses during your trek. It does not cover meals & beverages(available to purchase), Porter(available to hire:$25/day for a porter and travel insurance, so budget for those separately.

Drive to Jhinu Danda & trek to Chhomrong village

Scenic drive for 3 hours from Pokhara to Jhinu danda then 2:30 hours trek to Chhomrong village(2,170m), the main gateway to ABC.

Chomrong to Doban

A scenic Himalayan trail through Sinuwa and Bamboo, featuring lush forests, waterfalls, streams, stone steps, and rugged mountain landscapes. Teahouses at Sinuwa, Bamboo, and Doban provide basic meals and accommodation. The trail follows the Modi Khola gorge toward the Annapurna Sanctuary.

Doban to Deurali

A scenic uphill trail through bamboo, rhododendron, and alpine forests, following the rugged Modi Khola valley. The trail is rocky, with stone steps, narrow sections, waterfalls, and steep Himalayan cliffs. As you gain altitude, the vegetation becomes thinner and mountain views become more dramatic, with opportunities to spot Himalayan birds and wildlife.

Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp

A spectacular high-altitude trail through Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700 m) and the Annapurna Sanctuary. The landscape changes to rocky, alpine terrain with fewer trees, surrounded by dramatic cliffs, glaciers, and snow-covered peaks. The trail offers magnificent views of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).

Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo

A long and scenic downhill trek through the Annapurna Sanctuary, retracing the Modi Khola valley. The trail descends over rocky paths and stone steps, passing Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Deurali, and Dovan before reaching Bamboo. The landscape changes from alpine meadows and rugged mountains to lush bamboo and rhododendron forests, with waterfalls, cliffs, and rich Himalayan flora and fauna along the way.

9 km/4-5 hrs trek & 3 hrs drive

A scenic downhill trail through lush bamboo and rhododendron forests, crossing stone steps, suspension bridges, and small mountain settlements. The trail gradually descends toward Jhinu Danda, famous for its natural hot springs. After the trek, drive through the beautiful Modi Khola valley and surrounding hills to Pokhara, enjoying the changing landscapes from the mountains to the lower valleys.
