A 5-day trip out of Muscat taking in Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Royal Opera House, Qurrum Beach Photo Stop and Muttrah Souq and Muttrah Corniche. There are 32 stops in all.
The running order is Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, then Royal Opera House, then Qurrum Beach Photo Stop, then Muttrah Souq and Muttrah Corniche, then Al Alam Palace Photo Stop outside, and on from there.
The price covers 4 Nights’ accommodation, Breakfasts × 4, Dinners × 3 and Transportation in a comfortable 4WD vehicle with fuel and parking fees. It does not cover lunches and dinner in Muscat to be paid directly on site by guest, Gratuities and Personal expenses, so budget for those separately.

Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque
Pick up from Airport or hotel or anywhere in muscat at 08:30am – Directly start the City Tour. Visit Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is one of Muscat’s most beautiful landmarks, featuring stunning Islamic architecture, marble courtyards, elegant decorations and a magnificent chandelier. It is an important place of worship and a symbol of Oman’s culture and heritage. Modest dress is required for visitors.
Royal Opera House
After visiting the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, continue to the magnificent Royal Opera House Muscat, Oman’s premier venue for arts and culture. Admire its elegant Islamic architecture, beautiful interiors, and impressive gardens. You can also learn about Oman’s rich cultural heritage and enjoy the stunning design of this world-class landmark.
Qurrum Beach Photo Stop
After visiting the Royal Opera House Muscat, we will continue to Qurum Beach for a relaxing photo stop. Enjoy the beautiful coastline, soft sandy beach, and stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Take some memorable photos and enjoy a refreshing sea breeze before continuing with your Muscat city tour.
Muttrah Souq and Muttrah Corniche
After a photo stop at Qurum Beach, we will continue to Muttrah, one of Muscat’s most charming and historic areas. Explore Muttrah Souq, a traditional Omani market filled with spices, perfumes, textiles, silverware, handicrafts, souvenirs, and local products. You will have time to walk through the narrow lanes and experience the lively atmosphere. After souq, enjoy a walk along the Muttrah Corniche, a beautiful waterfront stunning views, traditional fishing boats, and the surrounding mountains.
Al Alam Palace Photo Stop outside
After visiting Muttrah Souq and Muttrah Corniche, we will drive to Al Alam Palace, the ceremonial palace of the Sultan of Oman, located in the historic Old Muscat area. You will have a photo stop from outside to admire the palace’s distinctive blue and gold façade, surrounded by beautiful gardens and historic forts.
Al Jilali and Al Mirani Fort Photo Stop
After visiting Al Alam Palace, we will continue to the historic Al Jalali and Al Mirani Forts for a photo stop. Located on the rocky hills overlooking Old Muscat and the Gulf of Oman, these impressive forts are important landmarks of the city’s history and heritage. You will have time to admire their dramatic architecture, enjoy the beautiful surrounding views, and take memorable photos from the outside.

Wadi Shab Adventure Swim and Hike
Visit beautiful Wadi Shab and enjoy a scenic hike through the stunning canyon. The hike takes around 30–40 minutes each way, depending on your fitness level and walking pace. At the pools, enjoy swimming in the clear turquoise water, relaxing, and exploring the natural surroundings. Adventure lovers can also swim through the narrow passage toward the hidden cave, depending on conditions.
Bimmah Sinkhole
Our next stop on this day is Bimmah Sink Hole, a big crater near the sea with a small lake at the bottom, which is believed to have been crated by meteor.
White Sands of Fins Beach
Our next stop to Fins Beach, It is strikingly white, curiously pebbly, incredibly blue and jaw- droppingly amazing.
Romantic Cave
After your Wadi Shab adventure, you will visit Bimmah Sinkhole and Fins Beach. Then, continue your journey to Romantic Cave for a scenic photo stop and enjoy the beautiful coastal views before proceeding to your next destination.

Sur Dhow Factory
Depart the hotel after breakfast, then today we drive to Sur, In the morning we will show you the City of Sur with some old fortresses and the famous Arabian Dhow Factory, where you can see traditional wooden Dhows being built.
Omani Ghazal Farm
Then we will drive onwards to visit Omani Ghazal Farm in Al Kamel (Asilel Farm).
Wadi Bani Khalid Swim and Hike
Then after drive to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the biggest and most beautiful Wadis in Oman. Here you can swim, sunbath, relax and have a picnic in the beautiful scenic of wadi canyons. In the late afternoon.
Wahiba Sands Desert
We continue our journey to the stunning Wahiba Sands Desert and your desert camp. Here, you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, visit a traditional Bedouin house, and experience a camel ride if you wish. Later, we will head to one of the high sand dunes to watch the breathtaking desert sunset and enjoy the magical golden colors of the dunes.

After breakfast, we depart from the Wahiba Sands Desert and begin our journey towards Birkat Al Mouz Old Village. Upon arrival, explore the charming traditional village, admire its historic mud-brick houses, and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding date plantations and mountains.
The Irrigation System of Al Kattmyn
After visiting Birkat Al Mouz Old Village, we continue to Al Kattmyn to explore the traditional Omani irrigation system. Discover how this ancient water system has been used for generations to distribute water to the village and surrounding date plantations.

After visiting Birkat Al Mouz Old Village, we continue to a scenic viewpoint overlooking the village, date plantations, and surrounding mountains. Enjoy a short photo stop and capture the beautiful landscape before continuing our journey.

After visiting Birkat Al Mouz Old Village we will continue to Jebel Akhdar.
Al Suwjara Old Village
Continue to Al Suwjara Old Village, a charming traditional Omani village surrounded by dramatic mountains and beautiful natural scenery. Take a walk through the narrow paths and explore the old stone and mud-brick houses, reflecting the traditional lifestyle and architecture of Oman. Dianas View Point
Enjoy a scenic photo stop at Diana’s Viewpoint, where you can admire the breathtaking mountain scenery and panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and villages. Take some time to relax, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and capture beautiful photographs of Oman’s spectacular landscapes before continuing our journey.

Nizwa Fort
Depart the hotel after breakfast, then today drive to Nizwa, the former capital of Oman, and home of the famous Nizwa Fort, the fort is a museum and offers splendid views of this ancient town and the surrounding mountains.
Nizwa Souq
Visit Nizwa Souq, one of Oman’s oldest and most traditional markets, where you can experience the lively atmosphere and discover the country’s rich culture and heritage. Take your time to explore the colorful stalls offering traditional Omani silver jewelry, khanjars, handicrafts, pottery, spices, dates, Omani sweets, and other locally made products. It’s also a great opportunity to shop for unique souvenirs and gifts while experiencing authentic Omani market life.
Al Hamra Old Village
After your time in Nizwa, continue your journey to Al Hamra Old Village, one of Oman’s charming historic villages. Take a walk through the narrow lanes and explore the traditional mud-brick houses, many of which are more than 400 years old. Discover the village’s unique architecture, learn about traditional Omani life, and enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and date plantations. Misfath Al Arbiyeen
Continue to Misfah Al Abriyeen, Explore its narrow stone pathways, ancient mud-and-stone houses, and traditional falaj irrigation channels that have supported the village’s lush date palms and terraced gardens for generations. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, stunning mountain scenery, and a glimpse into the traditional Omani way of life. The village is also known for its historic homes and beautiful views, making it a wonderful place for walking and photography.
Jebel Shams The Grand Canyon of Oman
Continue your journey to Jebel Shams, known as the “Grand Canyon of Oman” and one of the country’s most spectacular mountain destinations. Rising to approximately 3,009 meters (9,872 feet) above sea level, Jebel Shams offers breathtaking panoramic views of deep valleys, dramatic cliffs, and rugged mountain landscapes. Enjoy a scenic stop to admire the views and take memorable photos before beginning the drive back to Muscat.
