Should You Book a Negombo Tour Direct or Through an App?

A lagoon and mangrove excursion or an airport-adjacent city tour involves real logistics — exact pickup timing around a flight, whether the boat runs in rough tide conditions. If nobody confirms those details until after you've paid, it doesn't matter whether you found the booking through a driver's number or a polished app — you're booking blind either way.

Booking direct with a verified local driver removes one real risk: a long reseller chain where your money and your question both pass through two or three middlemen before reaching the driver who actually runs the tour. That's genuinely worth avoiding.
