Full Description
Welcome to a photography class that focuses on real-world practice instead of boring theory. Walk-Talk-Photo presents the Bangkok Photography Class with the Pros, a hands-on, 6 hour session designed to elevate your photography skills while you explore the city.
Whether you are a beginner looking to understand your camera settings or a hobbyist wanting to master composition and lighting, this private class is tailored entirely to your skill level. We meet at our central location, discuss your current challenges and goals, and then head out to shoot. You can choose to shoot during the day, capture the sunset, or even practice night photography with city lights.
As we walk through hidden neighborhoods, colorful street art alleys, and iconic viewpoints, your professional instructor will guide you step-by-step. You will learn how to see light differently, frame your shots effectively, and feel completely confident with your camera.
Please note that this is a private, hands-on learning experience. You will need to bring your own camera (a tripod and flash are highly recommended if you plan to shoot at night). You are also responsible for covering the costs of all public transportation, food, drinks, and any necessary entrance fees for both yourself and your instructor during our 6 hours together.
By the end of the day, you won't just understand photography better, you will have the skills to create stronger images wherever you travel next.

Detailed Itinerary
- Class Overview -
Welcome to the Bangkok Photography Class with the Pros by Walk-Talk-Photo. This is a unique, hands-on learning experience designed to get you out of the boring classroom and into the vibrant streets of Bangkok. Instead of staring at a whiteboard, you will use the real world as your studio. This six hour private class is fully tailored to your exact skill level. Whether you are a complete beginner trying to move away from auto mode, or an advanced hobbyist looking to master complex lighting and composition, our professional instructors will guide you every step of the way. You have the total freedom to choose the time of your class. We can shoot in the bright morning light, capture the golden hour at sunset, or dive into the technical challenges of night photography using the neon lights of the city.
- Pickup and Departure Details -
Our creative session begins at an incredibly convenient location in the heart of the city. We will meet you at Gallery Drip Coffee, located on the Ground floor of BACC (Bangkok Art and Culture Centre). This spot is directly connected to the National Stadium BTS Skytrain station, making it very easy to find. Once we meet, we will sit down for a quick coffee and a gear check. We will discuss your current photography challenges, review the equipment you brought, and map out our shooting locations based on exactly what you want to learn today.
- Customizable Shooting Locations -
Because this is a private class, the route is completely flexible and built around your educational goals. If you want to practice fast-paced street photography, we will head into the bustling local markets or the chaotic alleys of Chinatown. If you prefer architectural photography, we will explore historic temples or modern cityscapes. As we walk, your professional instructor will walk alongside you, offering real time feedback. You will learn how to read light, frame your subjects creatively, and confidently adjust your camera settings on the fly. We will take our time at each location, ensuring you fully understand the techniques before moving on to the next spot.
- Equipment, Lunch Break, and Transport -
Please remember that this is a hands-on class, which means you must bring your own camera and lenses. If you choose to book a night session, a tripod and an external camera flash are highly recommended to get the best results. Moving around Bangkok is part of the fun, and we strongly encourage using the BTS Skytrain, MRT subway, or river boats to travel between shooting locations. These transit systems offer amazing photo opportunities of everyday local life. Whenever you need a break, we will stop for food or drinks. Please note a strict operational rule: you are responsible for covering all transportation costs, food, drinks, and entrance fees for both yourself and your instructor throughout the entire six hours.
- Return Journey and Final Notes -
After a full day of shooting and learning, we will conclude our class at a convenient location, usually near a major public transit station. Before we part ways, we will do a quick review of the images you captured during the day, highlighting your progress and offering final tips for your future travels. We will ensure you know exactly how to get back to your hotel safely. By the time our six hours are up, you will leave not just with great photos on your memory card, but with the practical skills and confidence to take better photos wherever your adventures take you next.
