Full description
This is a 15-hour experience from Chiang Mai, built around Hot spring, Wat Rong Khun and Chiang Rai (Province). It is run by CHIANG MAI DAY TRIP, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples sit side by side across Japan and the etiquette differs slightly: at a shrine, bow at the torii, rinse hands and mouth at the water basin, then bow twice, clap twice, bow once at the hall; at a temple, no clapping, hands together, and incense if it is offered. Photography is fine outside and usually not inside halls. Zen meditation sessions, zazen, are taught at several Kyoto and Tokyo temples in 30 to 60 minute sittings with the posture explained; a shukubo temple stay adds the morning service and vegetarian shojin ryori. Shoes come off at every hall.

We absolutely loved the trip. Our guide, Little B., was very knowledgeable and professional. She provided us a with great information about each of the sites we visited. We loved everything about the trip and we would love to go back and have some more blue ice cream at the blue temple. We highly recommend this trip.
Miss B. is an incredible guide. She can tell you a lot about Buddha, de architecture and art. The black house museum is a really underrated architectural masterpiece. The other 2 temples are well known and a must-see. The golden triangle is a cool guided boattour. I’ll definitely recommend this tour, if you want to see the highlights of Chiang Rai without staying there overnight.
A brilliant day out; the guide was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The timing was spot on. Perhaps the only slight drawback was the vehicle, which was a bit old and uncomfortable. Highly recommended
This is a very big day, however totally worth it, especially the temples and Golden Triangle boat trip. The springs are not really a highlight as it is really a road side stop with some hot water coming out of a well type fixture, but besides that, this was most memorable trip.
Overall, a great all-day trip to the long necked Karens, white and blue temples, black museum and the Golden Triangle, everything was very interesting. But the most important was the good spirit of the guide Bee. She is a very kind, nice and cheerful person. She is very professional and knowledgeable, giving many interesting details in a very clear way. Her attitude made the trip double as good. I recommend the trip very much.
Amazing trip. Was able to see so much in one day. I would highly recommend this to everyone. Our guide was absolutely amazing. She kept us well informed and explained everything in great detail. We also felt very safe with the driver. I would give more stars if possible
The whole trip was amazing! Our guide sujithra gave us interesting information before each stop and made sure each stop got enough time. The food was delicious! And ofcourse, the spots themselves were very unique. Recommended!
It was a great trip other than the break down of AC on the way back. Bee apologized for the inconvenience but overall we saw all the highlights. The temples. The Karen tribe. The golden triangle. The little boat ride there was OK. Wasn't my fav, but happy to have gone and learned about it.
It was a great way to see amazing temples, learn about northern thai culture and have a full day packed with unforgettable experiences. The guide Bee is very knowledgeable, always happy to answer questions, cared about our well-being and offered to take photos at the best spots. Also the food at a buffet was surprisingly delicious. it was a long but definitely worthwhile day.
We had a long great day, we are happy that we took this trip, we have seen few beautiful temple ( white and blue), a beautiful village museum with wood houses, and also we navigate on the border between Thailand, Laos and Myanmar.
