Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.

Brilliant day and such lovely and welcoming guide. Well worth it for a full day with 3 activities and he accommodated our big group of 19 people!
Fantastic day! Firstly quad biking and went past elephant sanctuary so saw loads of elephants too including a baby elephant splashing about in the river. Biked through countryside then had a bit of fun going over bumps. Whitewater rafting was great fun, the guide in the boat did most of the work and kept us safe! Sticky waterfall was lovely, pretty busy with tourists but still enjoyed it & absolutely loads of beautiful butterflies. Guides and driver all great. Would definitely recommend this activity!
This activity was really fun! The guides explained us everything, they were attentive and were making photos all the time so we didn’t have to. However, the toilet facilities were some of the worst in my life. It could be much approved. Before departure, we were lacking the information what to wear, what to wear on our feet, etc. and this could really be helpful to know since we got really dirty. Pad thai was so poor that it didn’t even look like a pad thai. There was an elephant below their base and it looked really distressed. It was repeating the same movements over and over again like the
Such a fun filled day! Out of the sticky waterfalls, ATV ride, and water rafting we can’t decide what we loved most! Everything was amazing including the authentic pad Thai we had for lunch. 10/10 experience. Shout out to Chicken for taking great photos and sending them afterwards.
Waterfalls were really fun. ATV riding was great - drove past the elephants and around the reserve. It had just rained heavily so there was plenty of big puddles to drive through! White water rafting felt rushed and there wasn’t much ‘white’ - just the rapids at the start then just paddling the rest of the way down smooth flowing river. Guide did not speak English.
Great day...the guides made it an unforgettable day. Despite the rain we had loads of fun. Especially the rafting made it an adventure 😂👍
So much fun! Guide was lovely and spoke very good English. Food was also lovely! We were split with a group doing another activity but all timings etc were well worked out. ATV took us past the elephants so we got to see/watch them also! Highly recommend!
we had great time in Chiang Mai. All the activities are fun especially Sticky waterfall and ATV tour. Our guide Mint is kind and helpful. We do enjoy our trip that day.

BEWARE, Do Not Recommend this tour in slow season. There is a character limit on this review so I’ll be brief, but I could write a novel of all the poor experiences on this trip… We waited over an hour for pickup that was late and kept being pushed out. There were at least 5 different groups put into the same van with the same “guide” we all had different activities scheduled so had to go out of the way and wait for others to be dropped off and picked up. The order of activities changed so we were not dressed appropriately and were not given good direction so we ended up getting our dry clothe
