Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.

Tata was a very kind and forthcoming guide. We enjoyed the activities and had a lot of fun! Be aware that you need sneakers for the hike because the trail gets adventurous as you need to climb some passages :)

great experience! We enjoyed every part of the teip. trekking is a bit exigent but its so much fun and hidden waterfall rewards all! Rafting is an estry level but with amazing views! take a waterproof bag and Phone to take some amazing pics :)

The tour was well put together and Tony was very friendly. Even though I was the only one of the group who registered for the ATV ride they made that possible and I had very good time!

It was a great day overall. It was about 1.5-2 hours to arrive at the waterfall where we had to walk 2km so we could swim. Then we had some lunch which was followed by the ATV for just over an hour. The course was really fun. Then we did the rafting which was also a good experience.

atv could have been a little faster, was extremely slow, but it 2as beautufull and guide was very nice. Rafting was great, didn't feel like 5km or 1 hour
