Full description
This is a 7-hour experience from Chiang Mai, built around Campsite and Hidden gem. It is run by ECOQUEST TRAVEL CO., LTD., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
A private day with a driver-guide is the way to see the most of a Japanese city or region in one day, because it removes the transfers between sights that eat a third of the day on public transport. Prices are usually per vehicle for up to a set number of guests rather than per person, and cover the car, fuel, tolls and the guide; entrance fees and lunch are paid as you go unless the listing says otherwise. Japanese guides are licensed for the work and typically punctual to the minute. Give the operator your priorities, and expect them to reorder the day around opening hours and crowds; that is what you are paying for.
The price covers Trekking, River tubing on the Mae Taeng River, Waterfall slide at Saa Gee Falls, Elephant visit at a community-run sanctuary and Hotel pickup & drop-off in Chiang Mai city. It does not cover Alcoholic beverages and Personal expenses and additional purchases, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Hotel pickup in Chiang Mai. ECOQUEST TRAVEL CO., LTD. confirms your pickup time and the exact spot once the booking is in. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with ECOQUEST TRAVEL CO., LTD. before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

We loved this tour! Out of 5 weeks in Thailand, some of the best memories will come from this day. The hike was a bit technical but not too difficult if you take it easy. Our guide carried everything, including water and snacks, so we walked hands-free. There was a stray dog that followed us all the way to the waterfall and back. My only improvement suggestion for this tour would be for the guide to also carry doggy treats, they deserve it. Tubing was fun - with beers and a DJ. Saw lots of elephants on the way, even passing some that were bathing in the same river as we were floating on. We al
I have been on many day trips around the world and this was genuinely right up there with the best of them. All the activities were excellent and given the right amount of time to enjoy them. Elephants and tubing were the highlights. Highly recommend
This was a great activity with lots to do, my guide Jack was exceptional and made the visit worthwhile for me. I would definitely recommend !
Our group unanimously agreed this activity was the highlight of our trip to Chiang Mai. Highly recommend.
This was a perfect day, jam packed with terrific activities and we never felt rushed. Our guides Jack and Toby were helpful, funny, informative and kind. Everything went exactly according to the description. The trekking and elephant visit were every bit as enjoyable as the tubing. My friends and I highly recommend this activity provider.
Amazing day trip, must do in Chiang Mai. Pick up was on time, nice car + driver. The hike through the jungle, not difficult and we had great pictures at the waterfall - perfect start to the day. The lunch and base camp were lovely, nice to relax before the tubing. A larger group joined us and we went to the river. The tubing was really good - nice and relaxing as we floated past lots of elephants. The highlight was the feeding, we had an elephant between 4 of us and it was such a memorable and special experience. We were concerned about choosing an ethical way to see the elephants in Thailand
Wonderful experience : nice trek, feet in the water and beautiful waterfalls. Tubing under the sun and incredible moment with elephants (they seem very well treated there). We stayed for the night and it was a good idea : great hosts and great facilities. We recommend 100%.
Great group size and activities. Wonderful Hosts and guides. Loved every second of it.
We had an amazing time tubing down the river watching the elephants. The hike was slightly challenging and rewarding getting to swim in the waterfall at the top. Food was great and the guides Jack and another who I forget his name made the day very memorable!
We had an amazing day! Our guide was so friendly and made the activities so fun. The trekking was a nice walk to a beautiful waterfall where you get the opportunity to enjoy it. Tubing was super chill and a fun way to see elephants. At the end you get to see an elephant from up close. As for the food, it was delicious and more than enough. I would definitely recommend this full day of adventure!!
So chill and so fun with our jungle man Jack! Be sure to wear a swimsuit on the trek so you can swim in the falls!!
