Full description
This is a 8-hour experience in Chiang Mai. It is run by Oh-Hoo, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.
The price covers Round-trip transfer service, International standard safety equipment, guide and crew members, Healthy Thai buffet meals and refreshments and Insurance. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Oh-Hoo sends the meeting point and time by email as soon as the booking is confirmed. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with Oh-Hoo before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Great rafting trip, the guide was super funny (“that was a swimming pool… now the pool swimming :D”). Everything safe with helmets and life vests. We passed by a group of elephants from the nearby zoo and nice tour of a waterfall after. The lunch was vegetarian and delicious with plenty of fruit.
We had a lot of fun. Our guide was the best, he was super funny and made the experience more entertaining. The river is not extreme but it’s fun overall
Rafting in such a beautiful llace was amazin, well organised, every was so helpful anf friendly, the water falls where i pleasant surprise, lots of for the kids .
Tom our guide was amazing. Hilarious and fun. If you’re lucky you might meet his adorable daughter too. Rafting was awesome too. Not too rough, but definitely some white water at a few places. You might lose someone, but it’s easy to climb back in. The free lunch was perfect after all the excitement, and we saw elephants playing in the river which was probably the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. Also shoutout to Sky, captaining the ship for the first time. He did great, even if I fell out once.
It was amazing Mike was the best guide ever great fun and for all ages would recommend
This was such a fun activity! the rafting started off quite gentle and relaxing, then ramped up to be more adrenaline filled. Lunch was lovely. we especially enjoyed the fresh fruit! The Natural waterfall slide was a nice surprise at the end too. The thought of sliding down a waterfall was super scary but we are glad we did it because it was amazing! Highlight of the day was slowly drifting past multiple elephants, some of them were so close bathing in the river. It felt very surreal
The guides were fantastic. The rafting trip was about 2 hours but was good near the end of rainy season. The waterfall hike was fun. Calling it a a Thai buffet is a stretch when its just unlimited plates of tofu pad thai and watermelon. The vans weren't too packed which was nice. We saw elephants bathing in the river at the end of the trip.
This is one of the best places to do rafting. The staff is friendly and everyone was very professional. They gave us protective equipment and a safety briefing before rafting. They take you to a waterfall where you get to slide down which is cool. There is a shower at the end to get rinsed off before lunch which was delicious. Overall all an amazing time!!
We were very satisfied with our excursion from the beginning to the end. Everyone was friendly, professional and helpful. We felt very safe.
