This is a 13-hour experience in Chiang Mai. It is run by LOCAL CNX. TOURS 99 CO., LTD., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples sit side by side across Japan and the etiquette differs slightly: at a shrine, bow at the torii, rinse hands and mouth at the water basin, then bow twice, clap twice, bow once at the hall; at a temple, no clapping, hands together, and incense if it is offered. Photography is fine outside and usually not inside halls. Zen meditation sessions, zazen, are taught at several Kyoto and Tokyo temples in 30 to 60 minute sittings with the posture explained; a shukubo temple stay adds the morning service and vegetarian shojin ryori. Shoes come off at every hall.

It was a great trip and we enjoyed very much all of it. our guide was very sweet and helpfull although i didn't understand her all the time because of the ascent. we had enough time for everything and we had a great communication about pick up and drop off point. you have to know its a long drive and the road is under construction so its quite bumpy. the plantation was totally not wearth. the food not great but ok. in general value for money.

Notre guide était vraiment top. Nous avons aimé le village des femmes au long cou, les temples bleu et rouge. En ce qui concerne le temple blanc nous n’avons pas trop apprécié le monde et le manque de spiritualité. Avec le nombre d’activités dans la journée, il est difficile de prendre son temps pour apprécier les lieux
This was the tour that was looking forward to most on our trip to Thailand. Unfortunately, it was really dampened by our tour guide. Let me say first, that I misunderstood what time to meet our tour guide after the first temple. I totally missed the return time and so did my travel partner. However, rather than helping us calmly, the tour guide SCREAMED (literally) at me over the phone to come to “the restaurant.” When I asked for the name, she wouldn’t tell me. I asked her to come meet us, n cause she knew the area and she would not. Instead, she tried face timing me, which I my phone wouldn’
We had an amazing day in Chiang Rai with May as our guide. She was very engaged, kind, and could tell us a lot about the places we went. Additionally, she was patient and carred about everyone. We booked the complete tour and every place is worth to visit. The time frame for each place is perfect, as you can discover everything without rushing trough or getting bored. Even the price for the elevator at the red temple was included. We would definetly book the tour again.
the temples were neat but more explanation could have been given about what to see. several were closed or very close to closing time by the time we got there. barely had enough time to rush through most of it. didn't even have enough time for the fift stores or to look at some of the buildings. Paid more for this tour for tea plantation which was basically pointless. there weren't any people there to show us anything and we basically had a view point from above looking at the field and that was it. definitely not worth paying twice as much for this tour compared to others without the tea farm

Awesome! It was a jam packed day but everything was well planned and my guide Kwon was so kind and funny. Transportation was smooth and effortless. There’s rest stops so that you can use the bathroom/buy snacks because it’s a long drive. I really enjoyed my trip and would definitely do it again.
The trip was good and our guide Kwan conducted it very well with some really good information and suggestions. But the trip was supposed to include the tea plantations which was not covered on that day. So without the tea plantation part, the trip was expensive as just the temples and Lalitta Cafe would have costed lesser.
