Onsen bathing has a fixed etiquette: undress completely in the changing room, wash and rinse thoroughly at the seated showers before entering, keep the small towel out of the water, no swimwear, and no diving or swimming. Baths are separated by sex except in a few mixed rural ones. Tattoos are still refused at many public baths and larger resorts, though private baths, kashikiri, and an increasing number of tattoo-friendly onsen get round it; ask when booking. Water is typically 40 to 43°C, so ten minutes in and a rest is the rhythm. A ryokan stay includes a kaiseki dinner and futon bedding laid out while you eat.

it was a beautiful day and even though the pace was fast, we had time te see everything. My only negative point, and this has nothing to do with the guixe nor the organizer, but the majority of the group was disrespectful. The guide was trying to give us some explanation and they didn't even bother stop talking. They were loud and diyrespected the hospitality and the culture of thai people. I was glad when the day was over because I couldn't stand them for another hour and I felt so sorry for our guide. She was very patient and didn't say anything to avoid further discussions
This day trip was AMAZING! we got to see a lot of things, but unfortunately we had a very strict time table to see each temple/cafè. But overall you still had the time to see properly everything. Our tour guide Kwan was amazing and very funny :) i really recommend booking this tour!
This tour is sensational! Our guide, May, and our driver, Mr A, were both so lovely. May was very knowledgeable and funny, and she really made the day so much fun. Make sure you choose all the options - its a long day but absolutely worth it, and it doesn't feel as though you're rushed or trying to squeeze everything in. The hot spring is not for swimming so dont bother taking swimwear. This tour is an absolute must!
Had a great experience with Daniel the tour guy lovely person helpful knowledgeable and very friendly didn’t feel like met him first time he was just amazing went to so many places and he was looking after everyone and taking care of all in the group. Just a problem the van was little tight specially if you are sitting at the back but otherwise book it don’t think twice its a great experience

Great Tour and awesome Guide! Just be aware, that this includes a long ride to the attractions. So pack your headphones and maybe some Snacks (The Van does stop for snacks tho). We had an absolute blast! Sure, maybe not every attraction was to my specific taste, but they were fun nevertheless. The temples are gorgeous and the Food was a particular Highlight for me. Our Guide was very friendly and kindly answered all of my questions. 10/10 would go again!
Chiang Rai was one of the highlights of our Thailand trip. The White, Blue and Red Temples are absolutely stunning, each with its own unique style and atmosphere. The White Temple is breathtaking with its intricate artwork and sparkling details, the Blue Temple is vibrant and peaceful with its striking blue and gold interiors, and the Red Temple offers beautiful panoramic views and an impressive big statue. Together, they make Chiang Rai so special. A special thanks to our guide, Kwan, who was friendly, knowledgeable and made the journey both informative and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Great communication from Kwan (our tour guide) pick up was prompt. 2 hour drive went quickly. Hot springs were boiling! Long neck tribe was educational. White temple was stunning! Buffet lunch was great - something for everyone. Blue temple was stunning! Lalitta cafe was picture perfect. Red Temple was stunning! There was 45mins at each temple, 30 mins at Lalitta and 20 mins at the hot springs. This was plenty of time for each activity. Bring a pillow for the drive so you can sleep and bring cash. Only cash accepted at the shops. Kwan was the best tour guide and made the day really enjoyable!
It was an excellent day out. We visited many places and had plenty of time to explore each one. The guide was friendly, helpful, and made the experience even more enjoyable.
We had a truly wonderful day. Our guide, Kwan, was incredibly friendly, warm, and easygoing. She accompanied us throughout the tour, giving us plenty of free time to admire the temples at our own pace. The journey was comfortable and relaxing, and our driver was also an exceptionally kind and lovely person. I highly recommend this unique experience to everyone.
Kwan was such a great guide! Funny, knowledgeable and friendly. She made sure everyone knew what to do and where to be at the right time and gave us the history of the temples. There is a lot of driving so be prepared for that! But it’s worth it; the temples are stunning inside and out. Highly recommend :)
This is a jam-packed day, covering all three temples and Lalitta Cafe. It’s a long bus journey but well worth it and the best way to cover all landmarks. The tour guide, Daniel, is friendly, informative and very entertaining and will even ensure you get a good photo at every opportunity. The buffet lunch across from the white temple was just perfect and the whole-day trip was really good value for money. Top tip: take your travel pillow for the journey! 😂
