This is a 11-hour experience from Chiang Mai, built around Doi Inthanon Summit, King & Queen Pagoda and Thai Hmong Community Market. It is run by Chiangmai Smiley Tour Official, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.

This trip was absolutely wonderful! Chiang Mai is such a beautiful and culturally rich province. The lush greenery, stunning waterfalls, and local wildlife were a delight to my senses. The experience was fantastic! The places we visited were absolutely stunning, and it was fascinating to explore the wilder, more authentic side of Thailand. Goi, the guide, was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and funny, making the whole trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
This was a great day! Goi, our guide was perfectly organized and make sure knew what was coming next and how much time we had. She had so much information and was able to answer all of our curious questions. We got very lucky that the rain only came at the end for the twin pagodas, and the summit , which made for a memorable and windy moment :)) if you’re going in the rainy season definitely bring rain gear, anything can happen even if the day starts out warm and cloudy ! Highly recommend this tour, and especially with Goi!

la nostra esperienza è stata meravigliosa, il trekking ti permette di entrare in contatto con la natura thailandese in profondità, soprattutto durante la stagione monsonica. la nostra guida Koi è stata fantastica, 5 stelle solo per lei, meravigliosa: ci ha spiegato moltissime cose, lasciandoci il nostro tempo per affrontare il trekking ma anche fotografare e chiedere spiegazioni. Decisamente un'escursione da fare!
