This is a 10-hour experience from Chiang Mai, built around Doi Inthanon National Park and Pha Dok Sieo Waterfall / น้ำตกผาดอกเสี้ยว. It is run by TripGuru Thailand, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.

Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.

The trek and the waterfalls were great!! Don't forget to bring a jacket it was cold at the top of the mountains and there was a lot of fog to we coundnt see much. The gardens of the queen pergolas are in construction. We loved our guide Timb!

I just spent 3 weeks in Italy and a week in Thailand and this was by far the best tour. G nana went out of her way to make every moment feel magical. The waterfalls were breathtaking, but the lasting impact came from the village. You get a small taste of their way of life and get to enjoy local coffee and tea. This tour was a perfect 10!
