Non was the most incredible guide. Having been a monk himself, he offered insightful information about the monk life and beliefs. He even provided special moments for us like receiving a blessing from a monk and taking home a temple bell as a keepsake. This was a highlight of my trip and cannot recommend it enough.

Great great tour, these temples are so spectacular that you probably couldn't have a bad trip no matter what, but Nun was also an outstanding guide, very friendly and genuine, and it was a bargain for the drive and education provided.

I’m truly grateful for this wonderful experience, which was one of the highlights of my time in Chiang Mai. Our guide, Sipohn, was fantastic -warm, knowledgeable and generous in sharing his personal experience of being a monk, as well as many fascinating stories and insights that made the temples and traditions come alive. A big thank you also to Sipohn and the driver for taking such good care of us and making sure we had a safe and comfortable way back. It was much more than a sightseeing tour -it was a personal and meaningful experience that I will remember for a long time.

Shoulders and knees covered, for men and women, and no ripped jeans, vest tops or leggings; the Grand Palace turns people away at the gate and hires out sarongs. Shoes come off in every building with a Buddha image, so slip-ons save time. Sit with your feet pointing away from the Buddha and do not climb on any statue for a photo.
