Full description
This is a experience in Chiang Mai. It is run by ISE, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Sumo has six fifteen-day tournaments a year, in Tokyo in January, May and September, Osaka in March, Nagoya in July and Fukuoka in November; tickets for the top division from about 15:00 are the hard ones to get. Outside tournaments, morning practice at a stable can be watched with a guide who knows which stables allow it and the strict etiquette. Kabuki at the Kabukiza in Ginza sells single-act tickets on the day for an hour of the four-hour programme, with an English earphone guide. Baseball at the Tokyo Dome or Koshien is a summer evening with the crowd's synchronised chants.
The price covers Include Drinking water. It does not cover Please note that personal expenses and any additional and If you are pleased with the service, so budget for those separately. Traveler Reviews
The venue is beautiful especially if it’s not too hot. The costumes were nice. The food was ok. Not great. We had the middle option. They would bring more if you could get their attention. Everyone was pleasant. We have been to similar dinner/dance shows in Bali & Cambodia that I thought were more professional. But overall it was fine. Not a must do if limited on time.
food was good but not great. service was lovely. the show was three highlight, of course.
Amazing the food and the performance were both great!!! 5 stars!!!
Highly recommend anyone coming to Chiang Mai to go for this! Very immersive experience to Thai culture and dance, food was delicious and a lot also!
Nice employees and performers. I will recommend this for travelers to relax and enjoy thai culture.
Great experience and must do in Chiang Mai (: food was delicious.
Lekker eten en prachtig kader
Performers were the highlight of the experience! Fun experience and interactive. Food/ drinks/ service however, was a let down. Staff were constantly walking around on phones and talking loudly during performance. While there was a good variety of food and drinks options, they weren’t very nice at all, and I suspect a lot of others felt this way as there was a lot of leftovers on the tables after. (I appreciate this is a cheap experience and wasn’t expecting luxury) but I recommend eating before hand or planning somewhere for after. OR if there is a no food option I would’ve done this.
The vegetarian food option was just ok, didn’t care for most of it. The show had nice costumes and dancing but the sound system was difficult to hear. You will be sitting on the ground, either on a cushion or with your feet in an opening under the table.
Very cool. A bit touristy but the dances and costumes seemed very authentic
very cool experience and dinner.
