Full description
This is a 3-hour experience from Chiang Mai, built around Bus/coach. It is run by Love Elephant Sanctuary Bangkok, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.
Pickup is offered from Villa Cha Cha Restaurant and Wat That Thong; the exact spot and time are agreed with Love Elephant Sanctuary Bangkok once the booking is confirmed, and the option you choose sets whether transport is included.
The price covers Round-trip transfer from Ekkamai BTS or Khao San, English-speaking guide, Bottled water, Elephant food and Fresh fruit and refreshments. It does not cover Hotel pickup and drop-off, Khao San only, Any physical contact with the elephants and Lunch and meals, so budget for those separately. The sanctuary is very nice and so are the people there. They treat the elephants with respect and kindness and it’s beautiful to see. You can help prepare food for the elephants that you can feed them yourself. I highly recommend going there!
Amazing place, elephants are truly loved and cared for and their caretakers are very kind people, they even arranged a ride for us to get there and gave us fruit after meeting the elephants. Such a great experience, highly recommended.
Sehr schönes kleines Event mit freundlichen Elefanten. Die Elefanten wurden zu keinem Zeitpunkt zu etwas genötigt, nur ab und an mit einer Banane gelockt. Die Gastgeberin hatte viele spannende Fakten zu erzählen und machte einen herzlichen Eindruck
I had a great day our guide was amazing all the people there are so caring and informative and feeding the elephants was a privilege to see these beautiful creatures up close and making there food and feeding them I felt so lucky and blessed to be with them also got a ear to the face which made me laugh. I would honestly recommend this experience to anyone.

Un véritable plaisir d'avoir participé à cette activité. Etre proche des éléphants, les nourrir et prendre connaissance de leur conditions de vie sont des vrais plus. La guide surnommé "sexy lady" a été l'une de guide les plus investi, accueillante et joviale que j'ai connu à Bangkok. Allez y les yeux fermés. C'est une expérience inoubliable.
Absolut empfehlenswert! Der Guide war super freundlich. Man konnte die Elefanten füttern und sie in ihrer Natur beobachten. Es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.
