Full description
This is a 2.5-hour experience in Chiang Mai. It is run by CanalTour x ExploreSiam, an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Japan's outdoors is organised: trails are marked, mountain huts are booked, and the walking routes with history, the Nakasendo post road between Magome and Tsumago and the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage in Wakayama, are done in comfortable day stages with luggage forwarded. Cycling tours use the flat river paths and back streets that cars avoid. The summer heat from July to September makes early starts essential in the cities and lowlands, while the mountains are cool. Winter turns Hokkaido and Nagano into ski country from December to March, with the powder that Niseko and Hakuba are known for.
The price covers Guide, Drinking water and Insurance. It does not cover Personal expenses, Admission ticket to Wat Chedi Luang 50 and Admission ticket to Wat Phra Singh 50, so budget for those separately. Everything included is listed in full on this page; if something is not on that list, assume it is not in the price.
Three Kings Monument. We need at least one day's notice, and we confirm the date with CanalTour x ExploreSiam before treating your booking as final. If they cannot take your date we tell you and refund you rather than leave you waiting.

Excellent walking tour. Nice steady stroll around the city and was given so much insight into the history and culture that I’d have never got by walking on my own. Well worth the money. Thank you!
Nancy was a great guide. Very informative and we managed to see a lot within the time.
The tour was really interesting. It was a great experience to be guided through and be told the history of the temples.
Super excursion, je conseille vivement
My guide was so friendly and positive. It was a pleasure to go around the city with her and have her as my local guide :) I was the only one booked on the tour so she made sure I got to see everything and even showed me some extra restaurants. She’s great!!!
Wonderful guide. Learned so much.
