This is a 10-hour experience from Chiang Mai, built around Mae Kachan Hot Spring, Wat Rong Khun and Wat Rong Suea Ten. It is run by SIAM SCAPE JOURNEYS CO.,LTD., an operator we book with directly rather than through a reseller, which is why we can hold your place with them before we treat your booking as final.
Onsen bathing has a fixed etiquette: undress completely in the changing room, wash and rinse thoroughly at the seated showers before entering, keep the small towel out of the water, no swimwear, and no diving or swimming. Baths are separated by sex except in a few mixed rural ones. Tattoos are still refused at many public baths and larger resorts, though private baths, kashikiri, and an increasing number of tattoo-friendly onsen get round it; ask when booking. Water is typically 40 to 43°C, so ten minutes in and a rest is the rhythm. A ryokan stay includes a kaiseki dinner and futon bedding laid out while you eat.

It does not cover An extra charge of THB 300 per person applies for the Long, Tips and personal expenses and Admission fee of 280 THB per person, so budget for those separately. Tour was excellent and well managed. I would add wifi in the bus specially for long trips like that one.
We had an amazing day! Our guide MM was really entertaining and lots of fun. She told us all about the White Temple on our journey so as not to use up any of our free time there. Our driver Benz was also great. The three temples themselves are beautiful. I was particularly impressed by the Red Temple and how it wasn't as crowded. There were some amazing views from there. I'd highly recommend this trip. It's obviously a lot of travelling for one day but it was well worth it.
Our group had a full day of adventure, visiting the long neck tribe, hot springs, and popular temples in Northern Thailand. Chai made sure to keep us informed all throughout the day.
The temples in Chiang Rai are simply amazing! This day trip from Chiang Mai is the ideal way to visit them without having to worry about transportation, food, tickets or anything else. The guide was also very nice and friendly!

Our tour guide ‘New’ was amazing! She was so knowledgable and balanced allowing us to explore the temples and village with always being nearby for any questions. The sites are incredible, each unique and with fascinating backstories. It was a brilliant day. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
The temples are beautiful. You definitely need more time on the first one. The guide was not sticking to the program advertised and the hours given. We had 1 hour for the first temple, 45 min for the second and 1 h for the third. We stopped on the long neck village on the way to there and when we went to hot springs our guide said that we are there just for the photo. Good we realised we can dip our feet too. Overall the guide was not very informative and when asked following up questions, there was no answer. Everything felt like a script, which was repeated twice and it didn’t feel like they

très bonne organisation. visites des sources chaudes, des 3 temples, d'un café.. magnifique !! repas buffet très bon. guide très sympathique je recommande même si plus de 6h de mini bus
Buon giorno doveva iniziare alle 9,30 e iniziata alle 10,50 doveva durare 4 ore e durata 3,20 minuti non sono rimasto contento grazie
- La journée n'a pas très bien commencée car je n'avais pas reçu de message pour le transport du matin, nous ne savions pas à quelle heure la guide venait nous chercher. Nous avons donc attendu 40 minutes. - J'ai reservé sans la vite au village Karen car nous n'étions pas intéressées par la visite. Je pensais que nous serions mises dans une voiture de ceux qui ont reservés sans. Ca n'a pas été le cas, nous avons donc attendu 30/40 minutes ceux qui ont payé cette visite. - Le repas est très bon. - Le temple blanc est un temple magnifque, mais compte tenu du programme de la journée, nous devons
